Yucatan Fly Fishing- Nick Denbow

Nick Denbow has been working in the Fly Fishing industry for 38 years!  He started in his local fly store at 13 years old and stayed there for more than a decade. 

After graduating with a double major in Aquaculture and Fishery Management he moved to become the Assistant Manager of Sportfish Pall Mall, Londons biggest fly store. At Sportfish he was sent to experience Saltwater Flyfishing for the first time in Cuba. After the company moved him to become the manager and registered firearms dealer for Boss & Co. Shotguns and Rifles, Nick decided to transplant to Mexico to further his knowledge of Saltwater Flyfishing.

Nick is now 24 years into his 2 year plan. Nick runs a guide service, a Flyfishing school and a fly store in the village of Mahahual, he has pioneered beach fishing on the coastline between Espiritu Santo Bay and Chetumal bay. He has co-written 2 books on fishing in the area, is a Thomas & Thomas fly rod ambassador and holds casting instruction qualifications.
